Manchester Unity Credit Union Ltd have selected the e-Web Online Banking solution for member access. The credit union evaluated a number of options and selected e-Web Online Banking on the basis of its high level of functionality, advanced security features and real time nature. A new website has been developed and is currently being tested. The credit union are expecting increased member and loan activity with the introduction of online loans and online membership facilities. With a nationwide bond, Manchester Unity Credit Union is closely associated with the Oddfellows society based in Manchester.

Strathkelvin Credit Union Ltd have implemented the e-CFS Online Cloud Backup service as part of it's risk mitigation strategy and ensuring the availability of services should the credit union experience an event which prevents the provision of normal services to members such as a premises fire or cyber attack. The e-CFS Online Cloud Backup service backs up the credit unions IT systems and data on a daily basis 365 days a year. This means the credit unions data is secure and available should a disaster occur.

After a 2 month project Croydon Caribbean Credit Union have gone live on FOCUS CUVision - the new fully digital hybrid banking platform from e-CFS. The community based credit union based in Croydon evaluated the options in the market and selected CUVision and e-CFS as the best partners to move the credit union on to it's next stage of development. The implementation of the core platform has been completed with the transfer of data and training undertake in person and via Zoom. Staff have been delighted with the ease of use of the system and the extensive facilities available to them. The next stage of development is the launch of the e-Web Online Banking Solution which will provide members with access to their accounts via the web. A number of credit unions are actively considering the move to the CUVision platform over the coming months.

Avila Credit Union Ltd have upgraded their IT systems as part of member services enhancement plan. An IT upgrade plan was implemented upgrading IT equipment to the latest technology and the installation of the latest version of the CUVision system. The e-CFS Online Cloud Backup service was installed as part of the upgrade to provide an additional level of backup to the credit union in the event of a disaster impacting the credit union. Additional training and the implementation of new cybersecurity capabilities have been rolled out as part of the services upgrade.

Newmount Credit Union Ltd have implemented the e-CFS Online Cloud Backup service as part of it's risk mitigation strategy and ensuring the availability of services should the credit union experience an event which prevents the provision of normal services to members such as a premises fire or cyber attack. The e-CFS Online Cloud Backup service backs up the credit unions IT systems and data on a daily basis 365 days a year. This means the credit unions data is secure and available should a disaster occur. This complements the Disaster Recovery Solution that e-CFS provides to Newmount Credit Union that ensures the availability of a replacement system within 6 - 8 hours of a disaster being declared.

BDS Credit Union Ltd have embarked on their digital upgrade with the implementation of the e-CFS Online Banking Solution. This service allows members access their accounts via the internet and check their balances and transactions on all the members accounts. This reduces the amount of calls to the credit union seeking information as well as enabling the member to access services when and where they wish. The importance of online services has been raised in light of the pandemic with more and more services being delivered online. Credit unions have been moving services online with very positive results. Further online services are planned as the credit union moves into the digital age.

Mendip Credit Union, based in the county of Somerset, has embarked on a project to migrate their BACUS credit union solution to The Cloud to improve service availability throughout the county. Based in Glastonbury, the credit union has been providing services to it's members through office, phone, post and collection points. With the Covid-19 restrictions, collection points have been closed and the credit union has been faced with challenges to maintain services. As part of it's development the credit union has decided to operate The Cloud version of BACUS enabling better access for staff and volunteers to the system for service provision. e-CFS has been commissioned to implement a cloud based BACUS solution for the credit union to operate on throughout the county. A secure server in the UK e-CFS hosting centre has been established to provide the service and is currently undergoing trials before going live in February 2021. The credit union are delighted to have access from multiple locations in the county facilitating better services for members.

Blackrock Credit Union are freeing up office space for anticipated growth in membership and loans with the introduction of e-Scan to scan all the historical files in the credit union to disk and remove paper files to storage. This should free up space for staff and members in the credit union and support the rollout out of the credit unions Digital Transformation and the introduction of the famous "paperless office". Implementing e-SCAN will mean members data/documentation will be available on the CUVision system at the touch of a button - scanned files such as loan applications, membership applications can be accessed directly from screens in CUVision A high performance scanner from Fujitsu ensures documents are accurately and securely scanned for storage on disk. The data is incorporated in the daily onsite and offsite backup for security.

Instant emails are now available on CUVision. Staff can now generate emails instantly to members from the CUVision system. Annual Statements can now be emailed to members who have provided email addresses for correspondence. This saves money and time and is a win win for the credit union. A new Email Statements Module has been added to the CUVision Hybrid Banking Platform. The new module facilitates one touch emailing of statements to members. If the member is on the phone or at the front counter or in an interview room, staff can instantly email them a statement with the push of a button. The fully up-to-date statement will be emailed to the member immediately. Annual Statements have also been enhanced to enable annual statements to be emailed to members. This saves the printing, packaging, stamping and posting of annual statements as well as saving on the planet with less stationary being required. The investment in this module will usually pay for itself in Year 1 - saving postal charges, staff time and stationary costs every year as well as saving the planet.
